Beef Bone Steak

Our beef ribs are quick and easy to prepare! Simply sear for 2 minutes on each side and you'll have perfect steaks.

Ingredients

1 piece
3 tbsp
Short Ribs "Big Beef Rib"olive oil
1 tbsp
1 sprig
butterthyme
1 sprigrosemary

Preparation

1.Warm up the meat

Place the bag in warm tap water in the sink for 5-10 minutes. Cut open the bag, remove the meat and empty the liquid down the drain.

2.Portion the rib

Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper and cut the "Big Beef Rib" into 5 pieces between the ribs. Then wrap the pieces individually in cling film.

3.Heat up

Heat in the microwave at 900 W for 4.5 minutes (max. 2 pieces at a time).

4.Prepare the pan

Heat a frying pan to maximum heat. When the pan is hot, add 3 tablespoons of oil (preferably heat-resistant olive oil) to the pan and wait approx. 15 seconds until the oil is hot.

5.Sear the meat

Sear the meat without the foil for approx. 1 minute on each side.

6. Arrosify

Reduce the heat to three quarters and turn the meat over. Add 1 tbsp of butter and fry for a further 2 minutes, basting with the butter from time to time. Add fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary) if necessary.

Leave the meat to rest for 5-10 minutes in the oven at 50°C or between two preheated plates.
