'Tender Wheel' veal steaks
Our rolled veal roast is quick and easy to prepare in the pan. Simply portion steaks and sear them for 2 minutes on each side.
Ingredients
Preparation
Place the bag in the sink for 5-10 minutes in warm water from the tap. Cut open the bag, remove the meat and empty the liquid down the drain.
Cut the string and carefully remove it from the meat.
Wipe the veal roast dry with kitchen roll and cut the desired amount of steaks into slices, approx. 3 cm thick.
Heat a frying pan to three-quarters heat on your hob (medium-high). Once the pan is hot, add 5 tablespoons of oil (preferably heat-resistant olive oil) to the pan and wait approx. 15 seconds until the oil is hot.
Place the veal steaks in the pan and fry for 2 minutes on both sides until the meat is golden brown (lift the meat frequently to get the oil underneath).
