Baked Apples with Marzipan and honey
Do you still remember grandma's home-made, wonderfully fragrant baked apples from the oven? You can easily make this classic yourself! Enjoy the stuffed baked apples as a dessert or as a wintery side dish with duck and goose.

Prepare the apples
4 pieces | small Apples |
Filling
80 g | Marzipan |
2 tbsp. | Pecans (chopped) |

2 tbsp. | Honey |
Preparation steps
Prepare the apples
- Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.
- Cut off the “apple lid” and set aside.
- Hollow out the apples with a Parisienne cutter or a small spoon.
Filling
- Mix the marzipan and pecan nuts and fill the apples.
Bake the apples
- Put the lid back on and cook the apples in the oven (middle shelf position) for approx. 50 minutes. Heat the honey, arrange the apples on plates, drizzle with the warm honey and serve.
