Tacos with Pulled Pork and sour onions
This recipe is easy to prepare, tastes great & is incredibly quick to make with AUMAERK's unique pre-cooked pulled pork. The butter-tender pork and sour onions are the perfect filling for your tacos!

Ingredients
Sour Onions
2 pieces | Red onion |
200 ml | White wine vinegar |
2 tbsp. | Brown sugar |
1 pinch | Salt |
4 twigs | Thyme |
1 piece | Bay leaf |
Finish the pre-cooked pulled pork
Fill the Tacos
6 pieces | Taco Shells |
Preparation steps
Prepare the sour onions
- Peel the onions and cut into rings.
- Fill into a preserving jar.
- Bring the vinegar, sugar, herbs and salt to the boil.
- Pour the stock into the onions.
- Cover the jar and leave to infuse overnight.
Finish the pre-cooked pulled pork
- Portion the pulled pork (500g - cut off approx. 1/4 of the whole pulled pork) and roast on the barbecue or in the oven (approx. 35 minutes, ready at a core temperature of 60°C).
Fill the tacos
- Fill the tacos with the finished pulled pork and top with the sour onions.
Enjoy with sour cream dip or guacamole, as desired.
