Caramelized red wine plums

Ingredients
Prepare the plums
300 g | Plums |
Caramelize, deglaze and season
50 g | Sugar |
100 ml | Red wine |
1 piece | Cinnamon stick |
1 piece | Cloves |
Toss the plums and serve
1 twig | Thyme |

Prepare the plums
- Wash the plums, cut in half and remove the stones.
Caramelize, deglaze and season
- Caramelize the sugar in a pan until golden brown.
- Deglaze with red wine.
- Add the cinnamon stick and cloves and simmer gently for approx. 10 minutes until the sugar has dissolved.
Toss the plums and serve
- Add the plums and toss for approx. 5 minutes.
- Serve the caramelized red wine plums sprinkled with thyme leaves.
