Carrots with sage and walnut oil
Easy to make and yet a real eye-catcher on any plate: oven-baked carrots are a wonderful accompaniment to many dishes. Marinated with walnut oil and honey and garnished with sage - a delicious combination of flavors.

Ingredients
Prepare the carrots
600 g | Carrots |
Marinade, season and bake
2 tbsp. | Walnut oil |
1 tbsp. | Honey |
Some | Salt |
Some | Pepper |
2 tbsp. | Sage leaves |
Preparation steps
Prepare the carrots
- Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Peel the carrots and trim the greens (to preserve the color of the carrot greens, wrap with a small piece of aluminum foil).
Marinate, season and bake
- Spread the carrots on the baking tray, drizzle with walnut oil and honey and season with salt and pepper.
- Roast in the oven (middle shelf) for approx. 45 minutes.
- Remove and serve garnished with sage.
