Carrots with sage and walnut oil

Easy to make and yet a real eye-catcher on any plate: oven-baked carrots are a wonderful accompaniment to many dishes. Marinated with walnut oil and honey and garnished with sage - a delicious combination of flavors.

Ingredients

Prepare the carrots
600 gCarrots
Marinade, season and bake
2 tbsp.Walnut oil
1 tbsp.Honey
SomeSalt
SomePepper
2 tbsp.Sage leaves

Preparation steps

Prepare the carrots

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Peel the carrots and trim the greens (to preserve the color of the carrot greens, wrap with a small piece of aluminum foil).

Marinate, season and bake

  1. Spread the carrots on the baking tray, drizzle with walnut oil and honey and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Roast in the oven (middle shelf) for approx. 45 minutes.
  3. Remove and serve garnished with sage.
