Ingredients
Burnt Ends
1 piece | Schopfbraten "Noble Roast" |
Some | Oil for frying |
Some | BBQ-Sauce |
Preparation steps
Prepare the meat
- Place the Noble Roast pot roast in the vacuum pack in the sink for 5-10 minutes in warm water from the tap. Cut open the bag, remove the meat and empty the liquid down the drain
- For the burnt ends, cut off the edges of the pot roast and cut into cubes. Our gourmet meat is very easy to portion (whether halved, sliced for steaks, etc.), can be frozen easily and defrosted slowly in the fridge at any time without any loss of quality. So if you don't want to prepare the whole roast at once, the quick burnt ends recipe is a perfect variation for quick cooking or ideal for using up leftovers.
Grilling the Burnt Ends
- Pour a little oil onto the grill plate or into a fireproof container on the grill and sear the cubes of pork roast well on all sides.
- Once the burnt ends have browned a little on all sides, pour over the BBQ sauce of your choice and mix well until the sugar in the sauce caramelizes.
Tip: To add a little spiciness to the burnt ends, fry some jalapenos according to personal taste.
