Pretzel dumplings
10 pieces | Pretzels |
1 piece | Onion |
Some | Butter |
10 | Eggs |
Some | Milk |
Some | Parsley, chopped |
1 pinch | Salt |
Some | Pepper |
Gravy
350 ml | Gravy "Juice Royal" |
Preparation steps
Roast Pork
- Prepare the roast pork royal according to the cooking instructions.
Pretzel dumplings in a Dutch oven
- Preheat the grill to 180-200°C
- Cut the pretzels into small pieces and place in a large bowl.
- Finely chop the onions, fry in a little butter and leave to cool.
- Add 10 eggs to the chopped pretzels and mix well by hand. Slowly add the milk until the dough is easy to knead.
- Add the parsley and onion, season with salt and pepper and knead well again.
- Line the Dutch oven (FT 4.5) with baking paper - this makes it easier to remove the finished dumpling from the pot - and pour in the dumpling mixture.
- Finally, cook the dumpling mixture in the Dutch oven with the lid closed for 30-40 minutes at 180-200°C on the grill until the chopstick test is successful. In other words, prick it with a skewer (shashlik skewers are ideal for this) and when nothing of the dumpling mixture sticks to the skewer, the pretzel dumpling is ready.
Gravy
- Bring the pork gravy Juice Royal to the boil in a pan at 100°C for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cut the roast pork “Pork Royal” and pretzel dumplings into slices and serve on plates with the roast pork juice “Juice Royal”. Enjoy your meal!
